For Interest I asked the stealer yesterday what a set of chrome handles would be for the T6, they quoted me +- R550 for one. Is that real Chromed Metal or is it Plastic with a Chrome finish?

Same with Swambo's previous Corsa, had a "Chrome" ring on the gearknob, GM wanted to charge me R500 odd just for that. Poor guy, i swore so hard at him, his ears must still be sore.

Just a sneak peak of what is currently happening.
SWAMBO is going on a Ladies 4x4 trip in a few weeks time. All vehicles have to be branded.
I will obviously post more photo's once everything is done. I am also waiting on delivery of my Stofpad Rocksliders. Will post photo's of those as well as soon as it is fitted

That might explain the 2.2XLS letting me eat its dust.

No, it shouldnt, as this bumper is less then 5kg heavier than the OME bumper.
But if you want to get really technical, the OME bumper should have more wind resistance with the plough shape it has.
The Stofpad bumper is about 130mm higher and just stops below the body. (still giving it enough protection)

If it is slower, then it must be due to thr front view camara i added....
With its weight and wind resistance i wouldnt be surprised it my fuel consumption goes up by another 1l/100km

We are looking at R3,800 (exl VAT) for a set of spats. This is when you fit them yourself.

If you need the spats in black, we will infuse the resin with black and then you can't scratch the paint, as it has no paint.

We will also be doing the white in the resin as well. So that one will be scratch resistant as well.

Should you need us to paint and fit them, the price is R6,500 (excl VAT) for a plain colour. A metalic colour is R400 extra.

We are very fully booked at this stage, but drop us an email and we will keep you updated. henri.cobrax@gmail.com

Folks, how do you like this. We are busy discussing some aspects.

Put a sticker on that raised FORD badge.
Continue the line, from the grill, to the bottom and make that black as well.
Put 2 black lines over the bonnet.

But I will show you as we carry on.

The intake grill is not in yet. But you can get the idea. Tomorrow we are going to paint some sections and see what it looks like then.

PS. That bonnet acc is not attached yet. It must get a little rubber border where the bonnet meets the acc.

Now this thing is coming together.

This guy in the Cape, asked us for a pair of front spats, a bonnet and also for a grill.

This is what he knocked together.

I added the pictures of the Cobra pickup, just as a comparison.

I have a 2012 Ranger 2.2 Supercab (a pity there is not a 4x4 version).

I have done:
1) Front mud flaps
2) Inverter (300W for laptop, phones, battery chargers etc)
3) Custom LeisureTech canopy
4) Tentco Roof top tent
5) Tentco Canopy
6) 40 litre water tank with tap
7) LED lights at each canopy door
8 ) Raised rack for trommel (I am to short to reach inside the trommel if it is standing on the floor)
9) Nuvi (Street navigation), eTrex 20 (track logging hiking) and sometimes laptop when alone (support vehicle for GS outings) for routing (nRoute with bluetoot GPS)

In the pipeline:
1) 2nd battery system
2) Drawer system (got some nice ideas here)
3) Hand winch (most driving is alone in the mountains over weekends. Help not always close by)

I have done about 115 000km in 1.5 years. Average fuel consumption of 10.73km/l. Average running cost (Fuel, service, tyres, general maintenance) of R1.31/km (1st out of service plan service done)

Saw a beautiful 2.2 Auto Supercab 4x4 at Ford Kempton Park. Said XLS on the back but had steering wheel buttons with radio and CC, Electric folding mirrors, bin liner with 12v socket, sat nav, all crome accents.

On its way to Norway if I remember correctly. Not sold locally because of possible lower sales figures on the 3.2 that has a better profit margin. Exactly the same reason why we dont get the Range Rover in V6 diesel or normally aspirated V8.

Ek moes terug vieg Angola toe, so die tyd het my ingehaal.

Groete

BeeTee50,

I did not find the icon to attach a file when replying to a PM.

Herewith a photo of the standard Ford mud flaps that I fitted. As mentioned before, I would have liked them to be a tad longer.

Our Raptor project is coming on very nicely....

This car now gets a white bumper and then the Raptor grill. We hope to have the Raptor grill ready by end Feb.

Very Nice!

So my volgede stap gaan eers 100Watt globes wees.

Ek sal stick by HID... Of LEDs... )
